It was nice, we had some hickups but i would stay again knowing knowing i uave to have ample cash for that particular st
Perfect location, vaporetto(water taxi) stops literally at the hotel. Plus it was very gilded exuberant like u would expect from an old Venetian Palace
Is not well maintained, our room had a giant crack on the mirror doors of the closet and the other closet door was missing handles, carpets were stained badly. Plus staff was nice but we had a bit of an issue: we were at our last stay having been in Italy over a week and in multiple cities, we payed our city tax on all the hotels w our credit card. Now on this hotel for some obscure reason ( I say this cause we never had an explanation as to why this was this way) on this hotel the taxes had to be paid cash. That is something that needs to be stated on the booking so the tourists know they have to save some cash for that. Because we were out of cash never thinking this was a problem since we had paid all over Italy w our card. And staff needs to make this clear upon check in not at the last min when we had a taxi waiting to take us to the airport.
